With reference to your circular despatch
of the 24th July, 1933, on the subject of the age of
consent in this Colony, I have the honour to forward
the accompanying copy of a minute by the Attorney
General, which sets out the present state of the law
in this retard.
I should be glad to learn in due course
whether you concur in the proposals to amend the local
law, contained in the tenth paragraph of that minute.
